Bargain-bin digicam energy — overcooked saturation, mushy detail and a flash that never gives up. Chinese Pocket sits in the 2006–2012 digital compact class (CCD JPEG). It models early digital JPEG character — chroma noise, clipped flash highlights and soft compression — not film grain. Best suited to Parties, Lo-fi, and Everyday. Expect rich contrast, soft corners, and jpeg artefacts. Flash simulation starts on; a date stamp is part of the default look. RewindSnap recreates photographic character — colour, optics, flash and imperfections — as an unofficial simulation, not a lab match to original hardware.
