Early DSLR
Inspired by early consumer digital SLRs (Rebel / D70 era) · 2004
The first kit-lens JPEGs — neutral daylight, clipped skies and that distinctive digital black point. Early DSLR sits in the 2003–2008 digital compact class (DSLR JPEG). It models early digital JPEG character — chroma noise, clipped flash highlights and soft compression — not film grain. Best suited to Portraits, Events, and Learning photography. Expect fine grain. Flash simulation is available; an optional date stamp can be added. RewindSnap recreates photographic character — colour, optics, flash and imperfections — as an unofficial simulation, not a lab match to original hardware.
